A special visit was conducted to the production unit of Freshal Agroforestry Exports LLP, an incubated startup under the Tricef Incubation Center, Gondwana University, Gadchiroli, located at Kakadyeli, Gadchiroli.
During the visit, the team from Drishti Foundation and its Quiver initiative was present along with Vrushank Sorte, Chief Executive Officer of the Tricef Incubation Center.
The team carried out a detailed review of the production process of “Mohamrut,” a mahua syrup manufactured by the startup. Various operational processes, working methods, business growth, product quality, and the overall efficiency of the production unit were evaluated.
The entire process, from the collection of raw materials to the preparation of the final product, was carefully observed.
During the visit, special appreciation was expressed for the efforts being made towards employment generation and entrepreneurship development in rural areas through value-added products based on local forest resources. It was highlighted that Freshal Agroforestry Exports LLP has successfully utilized local resources to provide a modern market for a traditional product.
The team from Drishti Foundation and Quiver also appreciated the guidance, incubation support, and entrepreneurship development initiatives provided by the Tricef Incubation Center to local startups.
They noted that the work being carried out by Tricef to promote rural and forest-based entrepreneurship is truly inspiring.
