Vrushank Sorte, Chief Executive Officer of the Tricef Innovation Center, visited Peaforesta LLP, an incubated startup under Tricef located in Pardi, Gadchiroli.
The startup is engaged in pearl farming as well as the production of natural sandalwood soap and is emerging as an inspiring example of rural small-scale entrepreneurship.
During the visit, Vrushank Sorte reviewed the startup’s various business activities. The ponds developed for pearl farming were inspected firsthand, and the production process, management practices, and business progress were evaluated.
Information regarding the natural sandalwood soap manufacturing process was also discussed, along with product quality, packaging, and market opportunities. It was highlighted that this business, which started at the household level, has provided a new direction to rural entrepreneurship through the effective use of local resources.
Necessary suggestions and guidance were also provided regarding product branding, market expansion, quality control, and the use of digital platforms for further business growth.
The visit further emphasized the significant role of the Tricef Innovation Center in encouraging rural entrepreneurs, generating local employment opportunities, and providing wider market access to value-added products.
